Who Are We?

The Anaheim Ducks G.O.A.L. (Growth Outreach & Awareness Locally) Hockey program is a grassroots initiative created to develop community-based projects that promote and educate local youth about the sport of hockey and the Anaheim Ducks.

G.O.A.L. strives to develop new ways to keep our community and youth involved in hockey whether it be street, inline, or ice hockey. With tournaments, leagues, clinics, or events throughout the NHL season, we have a program for you to help grow the sport in Southern California.

Our Story

We take pride in implementing every step it takes to mold our local youth into hockey players in the community. Our award-winning SCORE program, developed in 2005, was created to make a positive impact with youth in local schools and hockey communities in Southern California. SCORE’s Street Hockey program introduces the game to 4th graders with the goal to promote the game of hockey and physical education within the school’s current curriculum.

From there, these schools have the opportunity to sign their students up for the i3 Training Camp in 5th grade to learn the game of inline hockey. This 3-session program teaches the essentials of roller hockey and life-long lessons. Students who fall in love with the game will have the opportunity to continue playing in our i3 (interscholastic inline initiative) league, where they will represent their middle school for a few years.

We have seen numerous of these students graduate from roller hockey and take on the new endeavor of ice hockey in the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League. With over 50 teams and 750 players, this league has grown exponentially since 2008. The G.O.A.L program has been shaping students to student athletes in our community for years now and need your help to grow! Find a program for you and catch us on the rink (street, roller, ice, you name it)!
