The Anaheim Ducks first hosted the Throwback Classic Adult Hockey Tournament in the spring of 2010. What started as a four team tournament has since grown to include 72 teams. 

This Orange County tournament is one of the largest 5-on-5 ice hockey tournaments in North America, with player representation from four countries!

Games take place at the official practice facility of the Anaheim Ducks, Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena in Irvine, with overflow games at various The Rinks facilities.

The Throwback Classic will return President's Day Weekend 2025 (February 14th-17th). 

The Throwback Classic gives back to youth hockey. All proceeds from the Throwback Classic benefit the Anaheim Ducks Foundation’s youth hockey programs. These programs include Anaheim Ducks S.C.O.R.E., Learn to Play, and Top Flight.

By competing in the 2025 Throwback Classic, you will be giving students, first-time hockey players, and participants with special needs the opportunity to learn and play the game.
